Kevin Hart saved Lady Gaga at the Golden Globes

In the age of superhero media, Kevin Hart brings the comic book action to real life and saves our beloved Lady Gaga! Hart revealed his heroic deed this morning during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Okay, maybe she wasn’t in any real danger, but The Countess did lose her footing after winning her Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or TV Motion Picture for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel.

“She got an award. And what people don’t know, after she got the award, she was walking off and she fell. I, like, had to catch her. And when I caught her I said, ‘I just want you to realize how big my arms are. They’re just … it could have been bad. It could have been really bad for you, but I saved your life,'” Hart boasted on Ellen.

When asked how far she fell, Hart responded:

“I didn’t let her go down that far because I’m a hero. The thing is like she was on her way down. It could have been brutal, you know, we’re talking blood, broken bones. But the inner hero in me grabbed her and my instincts kicked in, and I immediately cleared the camera. ‘Move!’ And then I had her and she was gasping for air.”

The comedian, who is now on his ‘What Now’ tour, was joined by his  fiancée, Eniko Parrish, at Sunday’s event. Hart made it clear that he didn’t want Gaga to get any ideas after he saved her life.

“It was like a thing and I was like, ‘I’m engaged,'” he told Ellen. “True story. That happened.”

Hopefully, the pop superstar’s own fiancée, Taylor Kinney, isn’t the jealous type or Kevin Hart may have to sleep with one eye open!
