Following her electrifying performance with Bruno Mars and Coldplay at the Super Bowl Halftime Show (see below), Beyoncé announced a 40-show Formation Tour with tickets on sale next week.
The tour will begin April 27 in the U.S. and will cover North America, the U.K. and Europe through July. More details (and hopefully new music) are still to come.
The Formation Tour is named for “Formation,” the surprise single the star dropped with a music video on Saturday. The tour is sure to be a success. Beyoncé and Jay Z’s collaborative tour On The Run grossed $96 million from only 19 shows in America, Billboard reports.
Ticket prices for the show are expected to hit near $300 on the high end and $65 for the most affordable option. Pre-sales will be offered to Amex customers before tickets are available to the public.
