Britney Spears talks ‘Pretty Girls,’ collabs, and Planet Hollywood

Britney Spears took some time to answer a few questions for Australian television show The Project on Monday and has us extremely ready for her next album.

The “Pretty Girls” singer was asked about her collaboration single with Iggy Azalea and what it was like to work with the Australian native.

“She’s a very sweet girl. She has a great accent,” she said. “They sent me the song and it was amazing. I was hugely a fan of hers, it was an honor to work with her. She’s a very cool girl.”

As far as a new album goes, Britney claims it’s “up in the air” but plans on hitting the studio again a couple weeks after her Planet Hollywood residency is up in December 2016.

“Well that’s kind of up in the air right now. I’m taking a day at a time. This is the longest run of Vegas shows I’ve done in a long time. I’m gonna have to have a two-week break, then I’ll probably get back to work then,” Britney said.

As if a new album from Britney Spears isn’t exciting enough, she also added that she would like to collaborate with Gwen Stefani, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, and Ludacris. Can you say “Slay?”

The pop princess seems to have it all right now. With a successful Las Vegas residency and rumors of being engaged to boyfriend Charlie Ebersol, Britney’s living the dream.

When asked about her success, she said, “Success depends on a state of mind and how you feel spiritually. I put my family first,” she clarifies, “well God first, and my family second and my career comes third. I try to balance those things out. I’m doing a really good job with that. Success comes my way.”

Brit’s Vegas residency will be seeing a few changes next year, she added, and the star is close to locking down a deal with Ceaser Entertainment for another two years.
