Captain Cuts drop infectious debut single “Love Like We Used To”

The multi-platinum songwriting, production, and remix team, Captain Cuts, just released their debut single  “Love Like We Used To” today through Epic Records.

The production gurus Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon, and Grouplove’s Ryan Rabin debuted the track on Neon Gold earlier today. “Love Like We Used To” features vocals from songwriter, Nateur and it’s a total hit! (Listen below)

Captain Cuts started turning heads following their studio work with Marina and the Diamonds, Halsey, and Tove Lo. Their biggest  success , however, was last years smash hit “Shut Up And Dance,” by Walk The Moon.

Their new release is a perfect introduction to the team’s own artistry, as it incorporates the fine-tune production and pop heavy lyrics, of which they’re known. The infectious earworm impacts radio airwaves October 31 and we’re expecting a smash.

“I ain’t afraid to call you, I’ll pick you up at 9,” Nateur sings in the pre-chorus, “Meet your daddy and your mama in my suit and tie.”

Throw in a radio friendly hook, and it’s clear why L.A. Reid signed the group after listening to this track alone.

Captain Cuts have gained the praise of Los Angeles TimesRolling StoneSpinBillboard, and Alternative Press, since their 2010 formation. Aside from their success in songwriting, they’ve also done official remixes for the likes of Britney Spears, Imagine Dragons, and Ellie Goulding, to name a few. The trio broke genre barriers, mashing up turn-of-the-century emo and rock staples from Blink-182, Paramore, and Say Anything with current pop hits from Fetty Wap, Selena Gomez, and Drake on the 2015 mixtape If You’re Listening It’s Never Too Late.
