In the past few weeks, Britney Spears has put on a show for fans with the release of “Make Me” and “Private Show.” Now, just days after the still unexplained music video swap, Britney brings us “Clumsy.”
This third slice of Glory is a bass-heavy, bedroom-friendly hit with a NSFW message: Britney’s ready to get clumsy with her clothes off. Can she seduce us with her smooth coos and come-on attitude? Listen below and tell us in the comments!
“Clumsy / Bangin’ all over this bedroom / again and again,” Spears sings on the track.
The 34-year-old’s ninth studio album Glory is available August 26, two days before the MTV Video Music Awards where she is rumored to perform a track from the album.
“Make Me,” “Private Show,” and “Clumsy” demonstrate a change in direction for Britney, whose recent hits “Hold It Against Me,” “Til The World Ends” and “Work Bitch” were designed for the dance floor.
Britney will join Late Late Show host James Corden for his massively popular segment “Carpool Karaoke” on Aug. 25, one day before fans hear Glory. Until then, she is busy promoting her new releases with interviews. One lucky fan was offered his own scoop!
Anthony Steven is the dedicated fan behind Britney-Galaxy.com, an impressive and respected Britney Spears fansite. After noticing his dedication, Britney agreed to an interview with Anthony! Here are some highlights:
You recently just released your new music video for “Make Me”. What was the meaning behind the music video and the message you were trying to get across during the music video? It looked like you had SO much fun recording it!
The video was definitely very fun to make, and I’m really happy with it. One thing that is really great about this video is that it shows you not take everything so seriously… and that our lives, friendships, and careers should always be fun!
Would you be able to tell us one new song that is on your album “Glory”?
“Invitation” is the first track that’s on the album, which I co-wrote with Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Nick Monson. It’s the perfect track to kick off Glory, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it!
Are you in love with “Clumsy” like we are? Let us know in the comments below! You never know who might be watching.
