No one’s in the dark about Justin Bieber’s reign of havoc in the past two years, but the singer has taken steps recently to move forward, and Scooter Braun, the Biebs’ manager since the start of his career, says the boy is gone and the man is here to stay.
Scooter told Complex that there have been many times he’s thought to himself that he could have helped Justin avoid his problematic actions but that he doesn’t have those worries any more.
“As he becomes more and more of a man each day, the challenge for him is learning who he is,” Scooter said. “He’s in such an incredible place right now, and he’s excited to share where he is… He’s ready to step up and be the man people want him to be, and he got there on his own time, like all of us did.”
After reports that Justin’s meeting with his probation officer last week wasn’t as newsworthy as the press would expect, as well as his recent apology video and appearances on Ellen, Scooter and America alike are rooting for a better future for the “Baby” singer.
“I’m not interested in the mistakes that people make. I’m interested in how they react to them. That’s what defines us,” Scooter said.
