Kanye West apologizes to Beck

Kanye West caused quite the commotion this year when he rushed on stage as Beck was receiving his Grammy for album of the year — clearly in reference to him pulling the same stunt at the 2009 VMAs during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for winning best female video. Both times Kanye insisted the award should be given to Beyoncé.

Yeezus has since admitted that he might have been a little bit hypocritical. During a dinner with Taylor Swift, Kanye finally had the chance to listen to Beck’s winning album, Morning Phase. He even liked the album!

Though Beck was a good sport about this whole situation, Kanye finally apologized. Very simply he tweeted, “I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck.”

Taylor Swift must have corrupted the hip-hop star with kindness during their hangout session! Following his apology to Beck, Kanye also ended his feud with Bruno Mars.

“I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced… I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid, ” he tweeted.

Apologetic Kanye also sat down with Radio 1’s Zane Lowe to discuss the Grammys among other things.

“I think everyone has the right to an opinion,” he explained about interrupting Beck on stage. “Everyone has the right to be wrong. I expressed my opinion, and I take the weight of it. Maybe I might have been wrong.”

“Even a broke clock is right twice a day,” Kanye added. “The Grammys are not the pinnacle; they’re an assistant. They need to know what time it is.”

Do you think Kanye was sincere with his apologies? Or do you think it’s a publicity stunt? Let us know in the comments!
