Just when you thought Katy Perry’s bad blood with Taylor was over, the “Roar” singer releases her latest fragrance, Mad Love. Smells like some retaliation if you ask me!
The title, Mad Love, seems to be in reference to the Taylor Swift lyric, “Now we’ve got bad blood, you know it used to be mad love” from her 1989 single, “Bad Blood.” The track which was rumored to be about her relationship with Katy Perry.
Ever since Taylor Swift told Rolling Stone her 1989 hit, “Bad Blood” was about a former friend in the music industry, rumors immediately pointed toward Katy Perry as the victim.
Last year when the rumors first started, Taylor Swift said she wrote a song called “Bad Blood” about a female in the industry.
“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” she explained. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’ [Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy!”
The “something so horrible” was thought to be in reference to Taylor’s dancers leaving her tour to join Katy’s. Though, the dancers claim to have been clear about not signing up for a full tour with Taylor. Miss Swift felt betrayed.
“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” the “Shake It Off” singer claimed. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
And Katy replied:
Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing…

The perfume’s title might just be coincidental, but odds are, she knew what she was doing! Mad Love is a follow up to last year’s Mad Potion fragrance released by the singer.Note: Populove is currently undergoing site maintenance following a hiatus.
