Women aren’t the only stars coming to Kesha’s rescue after the career-threatening trial against Dr. Luke and Sony Music. Zedd offered to produce a song for Kesha only a few weeks ago and now says her team has been in touch.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Zedd revealed the two are “very serious” about working together.
“Her team actually hit us back confirming that I was serious about it, which is really cool,” Zedd said. “I’m obviously very serious about it, so maybe something will happen. Maybe there’s something I can do. Maybe we can do some music. Nothing I can say right now, but it would be cool.”
Zedd added that, although he doesn’t know her personally, he’s willing to help Kesha in any way he can.
“I just read an article about [the case], literally right before I made the tweet because I didn’t know her personally,” Zedd told ET. “I thought sending a tweet was kind of the best way to get in touch with her. The only thing I can really do to help is produce songs, and that’s what I offered.”
Fans of Zedd and Kesha may recall a track on his most recent album called “True Colors.” Although the track did not list the name of the featured vocalist, many music fans were certain that the track featured distorted vocals belonging to Kesha. This has since been proven false (the vocals belong to ), but have a listen below.
