Lady Gaga to Perform at 88th Academy Awards

The Hills are alive with the sound of YAAASSS! Little Monsters rejoice because for a second year in a row, The Golden Globe Award winner will sing her powerfull ballad “Til It Happens To You” from director Kirby Dick’s documentary The Hunting Ground live at this year 88th Academy Awards.

Gaga, who vowed the audience last year with her amazing  musical tribute of The Sound of Music will perform among other musicians and A-list Hollywood stars including: Pharell Williams, The Weekend, Sam Smith, Benicio Del Toro, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Ryan Gosling, Kevin Hart, Charlize Theron and Jacob Tremblay.

“Each of these artists bring a wonderfully distinctive element to the Oscars stage, said producers Hill and Hudlin. Together they represent the many thrilling ways stories can be shared about the human experience, and we’re honored they will be part of the celebration.”

The 88th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 28 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 7:00 p.m. EST/4:00 p.m. PST. The ceremony also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
