Justin Bieber continues to repair his bad boy image in the June/July issue of Seventeen Magazine. Check out photos from the feature story below.
No one’s in the dark about Justin Bieber’s reign of havoc in the past two years, but the singer has taken steps recently to move forward through many interviews, appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and his Comedy Central roast.
“I was rebelling a little bit,” Justin tells Seventeen. “I was getting cockier and cockier. I didn’t have people to check me… You have to own up to the mistakes. You have to say, ‘I’m sorry if I’ve let you down.'”
In a recent cover feature for Men’s Health magazine, Justin’s attempts at fixing him image backfired when the hateful reporter assigned to his story published a less-than-positive perspective of the singer. Rather than highlighting Justin’s newfound drive to act his age, the feature focused on the many ways that people on his team were preventing Justin from ever being in touch with reality.
“You have a young man who is trying to turn his life around and open up and today they sabotaged that. He is really upset. He couldn’t believe it,” a source told Hollywood Life about Justin’s response to the Men’s Health article.
“I always want to be honest and let people know that those mistakes aren’t who I am. Who I am is someone who really cares about people,” Justin said.
