Taylor Swift responds to Nicki Minaj’s VMA tweet

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj exchanged a few tweets last night after Taylor’s Video of the Year VMA nomination.

Nicki felt she was duped out of a nomination for her “Anaconda” video due to the “kind” of artist she is.

There was little explanation as to what exactly she meant by that, but things got “shady” in Nicki’s followup tweets.

Due to the video of the year nominees including Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood,” Beyonce’s “7/11,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright,” Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” Taylor assumed the tweet was pointed at her.

Not to worry though! The tweet was just misunderstood by Taylor. Nicki wasn’t taking a jab at the “Blank Space” singer, after all.

Trying to mend the relationship, Taylor invited Nicki to join her on stage if she wins.

The “feud” between Taylor and Nicki may be at a halt, but the “Anaconda” songstress is still looking for equality among ALL artists.

Luckily, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran stepped in to add some humor to the situation!

Ed’s reply?

And things only got better from there!

And then one fan posted this picture…

We aren’t taking sides in this twitter “feud” and send good luck to all VMA nominees! Hopefully, things don’t get too bad between Nicki and Taylor.

What do you think about the Video of the Year nominations? Should “Anaconda” have been included? Let us know what you think!
