Taylor Swift shades Kanye during Grammy acceptance speech

Kanye West dropped(well, kind of) his latest album The Life Of Pablo this weekend which included the infamous Taylor Swift diss heard-around-the-world. However, Taylor seemed to have the last laugh this evening after taking home the Album of the Year award for 1989 while shading Kanye in the process.

In Kanye’s track “Famous,” he calls out his former nemesis-turned-friend rapping, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b*tch famous.” Although, anonymous sources told TMZ the line was approved by Taylor, the Swift family seems to deny it. Taylor’s brother posted an instagram video after the song’s release throwing his Yeezy sneakers in the trash.

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account,”said Tree Paine, a representative for Ms. Swift, “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”

The bad blood might be getting worse for the two, and Swift wasn’t blunt about it while accepting her SECOND Album of the Year award at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

“And as the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to the young woman out there, there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you will look around and you will know it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world,” she said.

To which the official Grammy twitter account responded,

Do you think Kanye will respond? Might we get another Twitter rant?
