The Weeknd just released the title track of his upcoming album, STARBOY, which is set for a November release.
The announcement comes thirteen months after the release of his critically acclaimed Beauty Behind the Madness LP. The Weeknd, a.k.a Abel Tesfaye , also debuted his new look for the STARBOY cover art.
“Starboy” is the first release from the single since being featured on Beyoncé’s visual album, Lemonade.
The “Earned It” singer ditched his signature hairstyle for the upcoming release, and looks virtually unrecognizable! Check out The Weeknd’s latest look below.

According to sources, Abel decided to cut his hair to give the new album a fresh feel and go along with his new sound. He avoided being photographed with his short hair to reveal it alongside his album reveal. Mission accomplished!
STARBOY will be available on November 25, but pre-order is available now, along with the single “Starboy,”

The album’s pre-order reveals the title of only one other track, titled “False Alarm.” It will likely be released as the second single for STARBOY.
As for DaftPunk, this is the first release of new music since 2013’s Random Access Memories and their first new single since 2014. The robot-duo haven’t promised anything in way of a record release, but it’s a strong possibility. If “Starboy” is any prediction on how either artists’ upcoming sound will be, we’re in!
