Tori Kelly hits The X Factor Australia stage to promote ‘Sing’

Tori Kelly is gearing up for the release of her first feature film Sing.

Kelly is making promotional rounds in Australia to promote the animated film Sing in which she’s featured in an all-star cast with Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth McFarlane, Scarlett Johansson and Nick Kroll.

The film’s story is about a Kola named Buster Moon (McConaughey) wanting to restore his theater by running the world’s most impressive singing competition. Kelly plays a shy elephant named Meena.

Kelly hit The X Factor Australia stage to perform a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t Worry About A Thing” featured on the film’s soundtrack on Nov. 21 and it was nothing short from remarkable.

She belted out every note without any problems. Where is this girl’s Grammy Award already?

The singer/songwriter revealed at a press tour in Sydney on Nov. 21 that “I always wanted to be in an animated film and be the voice of some awesome character but I never expected it to be this perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better role to play because I relate to her so much,” telling the Sydney Morning Herald .

She went on to say, “When you’re watching the film, obviously when you walk in, you’re like ‘Oh, it’s a bunch of animals’, whereas by the end of movie you forget that they’re even animals. You really feel that connected to them and you’re invested in these people and following their journey.”

We absolutely CANNOT wait till Sing hits theaters! Wait there’s a surprise! You don’t have to wait till December 21 to see the movie. AMC theaters are holding a FREE screening on Nov. 26. You can visit  to see if a theater near you is hosting one.
