VÉRITÉ released her latest EP Living this month and we are kinda sorta obsessed. The New York native has already successfully self-released two flawless EPs and each one seems to progressively get better and better. We first discovered VÉRITÉ through her most notable tracks “Weekend” and “Strange Enough”, and we’ve been hooked ever since. We’re absolutely positive that you’ll fall in love with the heavenly electro-pop sound of her latest masterpiece.
It seems safe to say that VÉRITÉ opens up a bit more in this EP, allowing her listeners into her elusive and private world. Tracks like “Underdressed” and “Living” are personal, revealing and just so relatable. “Living”, in particular, is very relatable, with the chorus, “I’m not too good at living / I always dirty myself up after a vow to be clean.”
Heartfelt artists with a clear vision for their music like VÉRITÉ are hard to come by these days. There’s something about her music that really stands out, leaving a lasting impression on her listeners. Maybe it’s her honest lyrics or simply the fact that she’s in total control of her project. Whatever it is, it’s working and we’re loving it.
