If you haven’t already sang along to the new Carly Rae Jepsen bop “I Really Like You,” then there’s no time like the present! Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and their celebrity friends just released a homemade music video for the new single.
In the video (above), a shirtless Justin Bieber goofs off to “I Really Like You” with his dad, Ariana Grande, her brother Frankie, Kendall Jenner, Lance Bass and a few less recognizable friends: Rixton, CL, Ryan Butler, Alfredo Flores, Matthew Espinosa, David Foster, Bryshere Gray, and Kimberly Nichole.
Although Bieber has the most screen time in the video, which was uploaded to the YouTube channel that made him famous, the true star is Ariana Grande who appears to make the song her own. In fact, we’d sign a petition for the “One Last Time” singer to film her own cover of the Carly track — if such a petition existed. (Someone please make a petition immediately).
The song is admittedly catchy, and the video is sure to put a smile on many faces as it goes viral in the next 24 hours. Our only complaint about the video is that the kids (and a couple elders… and Lance Bass) are a little late to the party. The music video for “I Really Like You” dropped over a month ago, and Carly Rae Jepsen is already promoting the follow-up single, “All That.”
Justin Bieber’s history with the track actually began with a cameo in the music video, which features Tom Hanks going about his day. As weird as that might sound, it’s definitely worth a watch.Note: Populove is currently undergoing site maintenance following a hiatus.
