Watch: Miley Cyrus’ ‘SNL’ opening monologue

Last night was the premiere of Saturday Night Live‘s 41st season and doubled as Miley Cyrus’ third time hosting the show. Also appearing as the musical guest, Miley made the most of the season’s opener!

In her opening monologue, the Dead Petz star did her own rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” in an ode to the select few that made the summer of 2k15 all that it was.

Dressed in an array of rainbow flowers, Cyrus paid tribute to Ariana Grande’s “Donutgate,” the Drake and Meek Mill fued, Kim Davis, Pizza Rat, and more. Watch the hilarious monologue below!

Hillary Clinton also joined Miley last night! ‘SNL’ cast-member Kate McKinnon portrays the presidential candidate in a sketch called “Hillary Clinton Bar talk,” as the Hillary herself acts as a bartender named Val.

After Miley shares her support for Donald Trump, the two Hillary’s jokingly discuss some of Clinton’s highs and lows.

As the musical guest, Miley took music from her latest album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. Miss Cyrus sang “Karen Don’t Be Sad” and an emotional rendition of “Twinkle Song.” Watch the clip below of the “Twinkle Song” performance.
