Sia

You can listen to five tracks from Sia’s new album right now!

Sia slayed the pop world with her 2014 hit, “Chandelier,” after her grand return to radio limelight. With her unique “stage fright” style of performance taking her music to a new level, Sia opened new doors to the rules of pop-stardom!

The Australian hit-maker is now set to release her seventh studio album by the end of the month (January 29th) and the wait is ungodly! Luckily for you, a few tracks have been released in the countdown for This Is Acting and we have them here!

Here are the five tracks from This Is Acting that you can blast right now!

“Alive”

“Birds Set Free”

“One Million Bullets”

“Cheap Thrills”

“Reaper”

In an interview with NME, Sia revealed the concept of her new album would be a collection of songs which were originally written for (and rejected by) other artists. She said:

“I’m super productive. I have a full album ready to go and it’s much more pop. I’m calling it ‘This Is Acting’ because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say’. It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun!”

The first single from the album, “Alive” was written originally for Adele’s record breaking album25 and the Kanye West penned track “Reaper” was meant for Riri’s upcoming release ANTi.

In total, Acting will feature 12 tracks which was revealed earlier today through the singer’s Facebook page:

  1. Bird Set Free | Sia Furler & Greg Kurstin
  2. Alive | Sia Furler, Tobias Jesso, Jr. & Adele Adkins
  3. One Million Bullets | Sia Furler
  4. Move Your Body
